CANVAS clock Walrus

A true command center, it lets you adjust tempos, organize setlists and manage MIDI and analog signals with frightening precision. We tell you all about this new pedal!

Perfect synchronization for all your effects

The Canvas Clock has been designed to adapt to any configuration, whether all-digital or hybrid. It can send synchronization signals to any device that accepts an external clock, whether via MIDI (1/8″ and 5-pin ports) or analog connections (1/4″ jacks). In the blink of an eye, all your pedals, synthesizers and drum machines will be running at the same tempo, without the slightest effort.

What’s more, the Canvas Clock makes it easy to navigate through pre-recorded track lists, automatically modifying tempos and synchronization parameters for each track. An ideal solution for gigs where you need to move from one track to the next without wasting time.

Advanced customization

One of the Canvas Clock’s major assets is its flexibility. Its four 1/4″** jacks can be assigned to different functions:

Tempo Out: Sends a tap tempo signal to pedals or devices that accept an external clock.

CV Out: Control Voltage-compatible equipment (analog synths, drum machines, etc.).

Switch Input: external footswitches can be added for even greater control.

Expression In: Connection of an expression pedal to send MIDI CC commands, for example to adjust the depth of an effect in real time.

Total foot control

The two built-in footswitches are fully assignable , so you don’t have to bend over between songs. You can configure them for :

– Return to previous song

– Navigating between setlists

– Activate/deactivate metronome

– Using a global tap tempo

In addition, a Sync socket allows you to receive an external tempo or send a synchronization signal to other devices. Walrus Audio has even thought of equipment that works with doubled timing by offering an x1 or x2 option, guaranteeing maximum compatibility.

A built-in metronome for stage and studio

The Canvas Clock features an adjustable metronome, whose signal can be sent to a mixer or stage monitor via the MET OUT output. You can adjust the volume, choose the tone and modify the accents for optimum accompaniment.

Song organization and setlists

With 128 programmable song slots, the Canvas Clock lets you save and recall tempos, rhythm signatures and MIDI commands specific to each song. In Setlist mode, these songs can be arranged in a predefined order, perfect for live performances.

Advanced MIDI integration

MIDI enthusiasts will be delighted: the Canvas Clock features 128 programmable MIDI macros, with up to 15 commands per macro. This makes it possible to trigger preset changes, activate or bypass effects, or modify parameters in real time at each song change.

An online editor for simplified management

For even more convenience, Walrus Audio offers a web application accessible via USB-C at walrusaudio.io. From this interface, you can edit your songs, organize your setlists, configure MIDI macros and update the firmware.

Whether in the studio or on stage, the Canvas Clock promises flawless tempo management – fans beware!
