A new fuzz from Walrus: the SILT Harmonic Fuzz

The Walrus Audio SILT Harmonic Fuzz is the result of a collaboration with tube amp expert Jim Hagerman, hence the presence of a pre-amp tube right in the middle of this pedal.

This new pedal combines powerful fuzz with a harmonic function.

What you need to know about this pedal :

  • A “Tube 12AU “7: The heart of SILT lies in its 12AU7 tube, bringing an organic warmth to the fuzz while retaining the power and harmonic complexity characteristic of tube pedals.
  • Harmonic mode: The Harmonic function acts as a frequency doubler before the fuzz section, adding “octave” tones to give a unique dimension to your lead guitars. Ideal with the tone knob down on your guitar.
  • Contour control : The contour control allows precise sculpting of fuzz tones. You’ll be able to switch between a high-pass filter, a low-pass filter and a neutral tone, depending on the type of pickups you’re using or the style of playing you’re aiming for.

The SILT Harmonic Fuzz is available on the brand’s website for $299 in 2 colors: black or red, whichever you prefer! Find out more directly on the Walrus website.
