rise and shine fuzz pedal

Stone Deaf FX proudly presents its latest creation, the Rise & Shine, a pedal that skilfully combines vintage charm with contemporary technology. Stone Deaf FX, the English brand renowned for its original effects, continues to seduce us with its latest little nugget, a fuzz, octaver and tremolo/vibrato within a single pedal, to explore a wide range of registers from blues to metal, post-grunge or indie.

The Rise & Shine is a digitally controlled analog pedal, a harmonious fusion of old and new. Equipped with Volume, Tone, Mix and Fuzz controls, as well as two pushbuttons, Mode and Voice. In addition, the pedal features two footswitches, one for activating/deactivating the effect and the other for momentarily activating the octaver.

The Rise & Shine’s different modes arerepresented by distinct LED colors, offering intuitive visualization:

  • Orange: Standard fuzz with upper octave
  • Green: momentary octave-fuzz
  • Cyan: Momentary bypass
  • Magenta: Octapulse Tremolo
  • White: Octapulse custom division

A key element of this pedal is the tone control, which controls high-pass or low-pass filters depending on the mode selected, expanding the sonic palette for the guitarist using it. A distinctive feature is the addition of “Octapulse,” a rhythmic effect fusing tremolo and vibrato.

The Rise & Shine is also equipped with an expression pedal input, offering the possibility of adjusting tremolo speed and serving as a Tap Tempo. This added feature further enriches the possibilities of musical expression.

Priced at £265, the Rise & Shine is available for pre-order on the Stone Deaf FX website, with shipments scheduled for mid-January.
