With a 100% analog circuit, this new pedal is designed to faithfully reproduce the unique character of the Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe, known for its warm, organic tones, from articulate crunch to explosive saturation. Origin Effects set out to capture every nuance of this historic amp by miniaturizing its tube signal path through “ultra-precise transistor engineering”.
The pedal simulates the behavior of a tube amp down to the smallest detail:
- Overdrive from the 6V6 power amp, with natural compression and unique grain.
- Tube rectification, reproducing the “sag” typical of vintage amps.
- Distortion from the cathodyne phase inverter, offering raw, expressive textures.
