After several years of development and a full year of testing, Thorpy FX and Chris Buck have collaborated to create a tube overdrive AND a signature boost.
Designed with Chris in mind, the Electric Lightning offers dynamic overdrive that retains clarity and articulation right up to the highest gain pot settings. Equipped with a 3-band EQ , it allows tone control regardless of the amp/guitar combo used. The boost, meanwhile, offers plenty of headroom with a large gain reserve, perfect for fleshing out clean tones or adding extra saturation to the tube overdrive section.
Unlike many other signature products, the Electric Lightning is specifically designed to be versatile. Chris and Thorpy wanted to make it an exceptional effects pedal whatever your playing style, so you can tailor the Electric Lightning to your style for maximum satisfaction.
To adjust the pedal, the overdrive side features volume, gain, bass, midrange and treble potentiometers . The boost side is equipped with a level control and a Lows control that adjusts the boost’s low-frequency response. Each circuit has its own footswitch for easy operation.
