The Blend control lets you mix your own signal with the octave-up circuit, while the Level control adjusts the output volume. The big news in this version of the Lupine is the Gain control, which <strong>lets <\/strong>you <strong>adjust the gain in the octave circuit, offering subtle tones right up to strident octaves <\/strong>that will make you want to turn down your tone potentiometer.<\/p>\n\n<p>This gives you the choice of using<strong> the two sides separately, or combining them for unique sounds.<\/strong> The punchy treble of the violet side combines perfectly with the power of the cream side. Both sides work equally well with a bass.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Thanks to 2 separate inputs and outputs, you can place <strong>these 2 effects in different places <\/strong>in your pedal chain!  <\/p>\n\n<p><em>Please note: if you prefer to use the pedal as a fuzz only with an octave option, you can switch to &#8220;single fuzz&#8221; mode by holding down both footswitches at start-up.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>The Lupine operates on a<strong> negative-polarity 9 to 18 V <\/strong>supply<strong>, <\/strong>requiring less than 100 mA.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Retail price: <strong>$199<\/strong><br\/><em>For those interested, don&#8217;t delay: this pedal is produced in very limited numbers, although you can still pre-order it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><a
