Dolmen Effects presents the JCR, an effects pedal born of a collaboration with French guitarist Jean-Claude Rapin, who has collaborated and played with such greats as <\/strong>Jimmy Page, Santana, Slash, Robert Plant, Jeff Beck, Eddy Mitchell, Maxime Le Forestier… This new creation represents the deluxe evolution of the Jeanne Reizh<\/strong> pedal, incorporating a redesigned “hot” mode and a clean boost.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

\"JCR<\/figure>\n\n

Inspired by the classic pedals Jan Ray by Vemuram<\/strong> and Timmy by Paul Cochrane<\/strong>, the Jeanne Reizh blends these influences with the distinctive addition of Germanium for a unique sound experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The JCR offers great overdrive versatility with its “Smooth” and “Rough” switch. In “Smooth” mode, it offers a Fender Blackface<\/strong> sound, switching from a transparent boost to a bluesy crunch. In “Rough” mode, a modified Marshallian distortion stage enriches the circuit<\/strong>, offering saturated tones with marked compression and rich harmonics. In addition to the overdrive channel inherited from the Jeanne, the JCR features a clean boost adapted to Jean-Claude Rapin’s playing.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n
