Thorpy FX developed a first version, which was used by the artist for several years. The concept was then taken a step further, giving birth to THE WOPR.  <\/p>\n\n<p>THE WOPR is distinguished by<strong> its fuzz circuit,<\/strong> inspired by the Fallout Cloud (itself inspired by a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/guitareffect.fr\/en\/5487\/2024\/07\/07\/comparison-reviews\/understand-all-the-differences-and-subtleties-of-the-different-versions-of-the-legendary-big-muff\/\">Big Muff<\/a><\/strong>), but <strong>with added aggressiveness and richness. <\/strong>The pedal offers Volume, Sustain, Bass and Treble controls for fine-tuning the sound. Bass and treble are active, offering the possibility of <strong>cutting or boosting these frequencies.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The Boost circuit, located after the fuzz, has Range and Boost settings.  <\/strong>The Range setting lets you explore different sounds, adding further flexibility to the Rangemaster-inspired boost effect.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>The name WOPR is a reference to the artificial intelligence supercomputer in the film &#8220;Wargames&#8221;.
